Born in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal and raised in Cork, Rory Gallagher's first band was Taste. The above clip is from the Isle of Wight concert.

Rory also wreaked havoc on the mandolin!
Gallagher died in 1995 from complications following a liver transplant. He was 47.
