I first heard Burnside, along with Joe Callicott and Houston Stackhouse on volume 2 of the Arhoolie Mississippi Delta Blues "Blow My Blues Away" compilation. The two volumes collect recordings made by George Mitchell in 1967 & 1968. Highly recommended! Burnside's wiki is an interesting read and offers some excellent links to interviews and tribute sites.
